The appearance of a new electric car always attracts a lot of attention. Much more interesting will be a charged modification of an electric car. In our case, this is the new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE.
The official premiere of the novelty took place on February 16 and immediately attracted a lot of attention.
The charged AMG version received noticeable differences from the usual modification of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE.
It is logical that the power of the novelty will be greater, and the power reserve will be up to 660 kilometers without recharging.
It is worth recalling that the new electric 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE was presented as a counterpart and replacement for the internal combustion engine E-Class introduced in the fall of 2021.
Now, for the first time, the company is talking about AMG performance for an electric car. On its official Twitter page, Mercedes has posted a small teaser video of the upcoming generation EQE.
There is not much information about the new 2023 Mercedes EQE on the video, but you can see individual fragments for the full picture.
The first is a new radiator grill, it is completely blank, but the characteristic lines for Mercedes-AMG still remain. Characteristic for 2023 Mercedes-AMG will be chrome vertical lines.
Not to say that the overall design of the novelty has become recognizable and does not repeat the usual version of a car with an internal combustion engine.
Further behind the grille is a new wheel design that also improves the aerodynamics of the electric car.
In turn, this helps to increase the driving range on a single charge for the new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE. If that’s not enough, the new electric car has a taller spoiler.
The exterior Color options from 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE are Polar White, Obsidian Black Metallic, Nautical Blue Metallic, Onyx Black Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, Twilight Blue Metallic, Cirrus Silver Metallic, Selenite Grey Magno, Diamond White Metallic, Cardinal Red Metallic. And interior colors, Black/Space Grey, Macchiato Beige/Space Grey, Neva Grey/Sable Brown, Black/Space Grey with Red Accents, Neva Grey/Biscaya Blue.
As for the technical characteristics, the 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE 350 will be the first to enter the market. This electric car received one electric motor per rear axle. Its power is 292 horses.
More recently, there was a statement that the charged version of the Mercedes-AMG will get an engine with a capacity of 680 hp, but this did not happen.
Soon, fans of this model will be able to see other modifications. It is assumed that subsequent versions of the electric car will be able to travel up to 660 kilometers on a single charge.
Immediately after the presentation, it became known that the new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE electric car will be presented in two trim levels 43 and 53.
For the most part, there are no differences. For example, the AMG EQE 53 will receive more black plastic trim, strict body elements and modern optics. The roof in both electric cars will be black, thereby imitating one solid glass.
The rear part of the new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE electric car almost reached the rear bumper. As in front, due to the black roof, there is a feeling of solid glass.
The highlight will be a small, subtle spoiler and modern LED rear stops. Between themselves, the feet were connected by a wide LED line, stretched across the entire width of the trunk lid.
A couple more nuances on the body of the novelty are hidden door handles and modern alloy wheels.
As for the interior of the new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE, there is luxury in every detail, and modern elements.
The central part of the panel, almost to its entire height, was occupied by the touch screen of the multimedia system. As expected, the system simultaneously supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The front seats of the electric car were divided by a massive armrest, made in two tiers. The seats themselves turned out to be sporty, high back with a separate headrest, good lateral support.
The second row of seats 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE will be designed for three seats. The seat upholstery will be leather, as it should be for the company’s top models.
Still, it should not be ruled out that, to the extent of new rules, laws and automotive fashion, interior trim can be made from recycled materials.
It is clear that the driver’s seat of such an electric car will be the most modern. So, according to reports, the instrument panel will be fully digital.
Plus there will be an additional screen located in the panel itself, in front of the front passenger. The steering wheel of the new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE is not particularly surprising.
It’s literally ripped off the regular E-Class, with sportiness added. We will wait for the official arrival of the new EQE on sale in order to fully understand its capabilities and filling.
