2024 Honda Ridgeline Colors, Specs, Price & Release Date

The updated 2024 Honda Ridgeline pickup, discreetly released in the middle of this year, will join the list of competitive auto industry in the world. As is clear, the new product is not much different from the second generation, which was launched in 2016.

This time, Honda began revising the trim levels, slightly updating the electronic assistant, and installing a new gearbox. What the buyer can ultimately expect is discussed below.

2024 Honda Ridgeline Exterior Design

The body of the new 2024 Honda Ridgeline remains unchanged. However, he didn’t need it. The appearance of this 2016 model was very enthusiastically embraced by the public and in three years it has not gone out of style. Although that is not to say that the pickup from Honda really stands out from the competition.

The only thing that is remarkable about the Japanese body design is that the muzzle is not very grand and big, as happened, for example, in the notorious Dodge or Ford.

As before, the car is decorated with chrome molding affixed to the optics, a simple radiator grille and fog lamp beams framed with a plastic frame.

The sides are full of classics – a sharply designed cabin, large wheel arches with plastic shields and tiny shark fins on top. The back is boring too. The classic hitch and tailgate protruded beneath it.

While not, the 2024 Honda Ridgeline has a few highlights. First, the board not only leans back, but opens like a standard door.

Plus there is a large trunk under the cargo compartment floor with a small compartment for spare wheels. If not, yes, classic pickup.

2024 Honda Ridgeline Interior Design

There are no updates to the 2024 Honda Ridgeline interior either. Apparently, the style change only affected the center tunnel, where now you can’t find the backstage of the machine. Instead, a simple panel is formed with a physical speed control knob. In addition, manual shifting is now available using the paddle behind the wheel.

The rest: half virtual fixed dashboard (small LCD screen in the center), multimedia sensors, architecture, center console, everything is in place before the change.

As before, a light and black 5-seat version will be available. In addition, the angle of the rear door opening was also announced, making landing more comfortable.

2024 Honda Ridgeline Specification

This pickup with a monocoque body will receive the same 3.5 liter 6-cylinder engine which is aspirated with a V-shaped cylinder arrangement. Paired will be an 8-band automatic engine. This is basically a major change for the 2024 Honda Ridgeline.

The base variant will offer front wheel drive. On the more expensive version, a separate clutch connects the rear axle. The suspension hasn’t changed either – MacPherson strut up front, torsion beam behind. Disc brake in circle. The front gets additional ventilation.

In terms of dynamic performance, things are not bad – 290 hp engine output. at 355 Hm, the acceleration to the hundreds is 10.1 seconds, and the maximum speed is 230 km / h. Average consumption – 10.4 liters.

It should be noted here that the Japanese continue to work on economical fuel consumption for their pickups. 2024 Honda Ridgeline is no exception. There is now a better cylinder management system.

The bottom line is that at low speed and rotation, the system shuts down “unnecessary” cylinders. So, there is no unnecessary work and, accordingly, there are savings of up to 3.5 liters per hundred.

  1. The Ridgeline for 2021 also gets dual exhausts that for us gear heads is a nice plus. The Factory version will likely be fully muted, but the change out of the resonater aft of the catalitic converter is a simple fix once the after market folks wake up and produce an exact fit resonator that will provide a unit creating a muted but throaty rumble from that V-6 ! Aw yes, life is good !!!

  2. Contact at Flowmaster opinioed that when the “”21 hits the market place, their engineering division would likely consider the aft resonator replacement a viable marketing muffler for Ridgeline owners……………that would be great , but it must fit in the factory exhaust piping system as a simple replacement for the factory resonator or you get into pipe rerouting , etc and that is expensive………..

    • For sure ! As long as it already has dual exhaust, the tone is only consideration for me.
Would not want to reroute any pipes.
