The 508PS engine is a supercharged gasoline engine that is relevant even by today’s standards. Paired with a turbocharger, you can get a return of 510 forces and, most importantly, that the engine is in proper condition.

Advantages, Disadvantages and problems of the 508PS engine

Advantages

  • The 508PS is reliable compared to its predecessors;
  • Timing chain drive;
  • An impressive resource of the engine itself without a turbine;

Disadvantages

Frequent malfunctions

  • Of the ICE 508PS Jaguar – Land Rover is especially famous for problems with the timing chain. The problem lies in the mechanism itself, which was already problematic from the factory.
