This concept SUV from the German manufacturer is the announcement of the first series, a fully electric model, with the Maybach logo.
100 years have passed since the production of the first Maybach model by Wilhelm and Karl Maybach began. The founders set one goal, to create the best vehicles. This latest concept model from the Mercedes-Maybach Concept EQS is a step towards the world of emission-free electric luxury vehicles.
The style of this car is muscular, without sharp edges and body curves. The vertical front in the form of black panels connects to the surface of the hood and headlights. Chrome accents adorn the radiator grille, air intakes and diffuser at the front and rear are the hallmarks of the Maybach brand.
The B-pillar is also chrome-plated, adding to the brand emblem that also appears on the D-pillar. The vehicle is painted in a traditional two-tone color scheme. The classic Maybach logo adorns the front of the car. The 24-inch lightweight alloy wheels feature the characteristic Maybach hollow shape with five short spokes, a flat center and the inscription “Maybach”.
The interior of the vehicle is modern, elegant and full of technology. The single seat and fittings are inspired by the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. A curved panoramic display module consisting of three elements extends across the entire width of the dashboard. Colors and material choices refer to the latest trends in the fashion world.
According to the manufacturer, the Mercedes-Maybach Concept EQS with electric drive will provide a range of around 600 km. A similar power unit will be used in production of the Mercedes EQS SUV series, which will begin in 2022, ahead of production of the Maybach EQS.
