The 2021 Range Rover Evoque is the most affordable in the range, but as trendy as the more expensive showroom members. Not surprisingly, this is the best-selling Range Rover model.
This high-end compact luxury crossover has been completely redesigned for the 2021 model, not easily recognizable at first glance. The previous generation’s style has been improved rather than completely redesigned. Coupe and convertible have not returned, the new model is limited to one five-door body.
Land Rover has always been a champion of sustainability, not rediscovery, and 2021 Range Rover Evoque is no exception. Parking old and new Evoques next door and even seasoned fans will be amazed to see the difference.
What they will eventually find is a subtle update to what is already stylish. The edges have been smoothed and optimized, and some awkward details have been revised or removed. The front and rear panels are reminiscent of a larger Range Rover model without disturbing the whole picture. Overall, a conservative view looks like a difficult but rewarding job.

Some car owners have rebuked the company for not being luxurious enough, and it is clear that the brand has accepted these complaints. The revised cockpit has a match and finishing touch, high-quality materials and an elegant stylish interior through disparaging remarks.
A standard leather chair, but a more attractive material fills in the option sheet. Our favorite is woven upholstery, which is comfortable, unique and attractive. Eucalyptus based materials are also available for environmentally conscious buyers. However, all seating options are rather narrow. Those who use larger models may feel limited.
The back seat isn’t much better. The steep and curved roof line that gives 2021 Range Rover Evoque its sporty-compartment elegance comes with sacrifice, with headroom in the back being the first victim. Higher riders may find their heads grazing under the skin, especially on models with an optional panoramic roof. The luggage compartment for the Evoque has a volume of 610 liters behind the rear seats. Fold and 1,415 liters available.
Two 10 “touch screens are available on SE, HSE and First Edition models (the S model accepts a 10” screen). The upper unit controls the infotainment system, while the lower unit controls climate control.
A bit strange, but in practice they work well with each other. The learning curve is not too steep and novice users should have no problem navigating multiple screen settings. For those who prefer software for their cellphones, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features.
However, the old Evoque was not the most sophisticated crossover on the market. It mainly struggles with NVH problems (eg noise isolation, vibration, and other problems) that are not acceptable at this price point.
Fortunately, this new model fixes almost all problems. The new base engine is turned off properly and not too rough. This marks a significant step forward and the owner will enjoy new improvements.
On the road, all mitigation efforts to smooth road bumps and bad habits of Evoque will be immediately noticed by anyone who has spent time in previous generations. The new SUV rides calmly, is quieter, and even on 20-inch wheels is not confused with road defects.
The basic engine develops 246 horsepower, which is enough to ensure that the Evoque can always show proper acceleration at any speed or from traffic. It never needs more power, and while we haven’t driven a lightweight hybrid engine, we think a standard engine should be enough for most buyers.
2021 Range Rover Evoque SUV matches the Land Rover brand. There are various off-road modes that adjust AWD and transmission software for different conditions. The maximum travel depth of almost two feet must turn this crossover into a luxurious cabin, even in the most remote and difficult areas.
