2021 Kia Picanto Exterior Colors Redesign

The new 2021 Kia Picanto is a deep redesign of the urban models we’ve seen so far. The differences appear in the aesthetics of one of the three equipment lines, but also in the mechanical offering.

As we can see in the photo, the GT-Line (sportier) and X-Line (country-style) versions differ the most from the current model. On the other hand, the simplest option hardly receives any aesthetic changes, despite the fact that the headlights now have four LED lamps.

Exterior

The 2021 Kia Picanto GT-Line version does have important aesthetic changes that help enhance the character of the sporty finish. The grille is finished in glossy smooth black on the bottom with a horizontal red stripe on top. Although the most striking is the new bumper. The front and rear volumes have been increased to offer a more aggressive image.

For its part, the 2021 Kia Picanto X-Line option also strengthens the cover image. The front grille is chromed and at the bottom of the bumper has been redesigned to mimic the front bumper which combines dark gray and silver. The rear also receives a new bumper and dark gray plastic is included on the sides which provides a greater sense of protection.

When choosing the model that suits us best, we can choose from the wheels from 14 to 16 inches or one of the 10 colors available for the body. The interior, however, is hardly updated aesthetically, beyond the new seat and color combinations.

Interior

As far as equipment is concerned, perhaps the most interesting thing was the commitment made to connectivity and infotainment, with improvements in the systems and screens used to display information. Undoubtedly, this detail is key in a segment that has a large number of young customers.

The main touch screen increases to eight inches and maintains all its connectivity with Android and Apple. On the other hand, the digital dashboard screen has now reached 4.2 inches. In combination with UVO Connect Phase II, it will be possible to get real-time information about traffic, services such as prices for service stations or parking lots and, of course, total integration with smartphones.

In addition, the safety equipment is also extended with very attractive systems, such as pre-collision assistant with pedestrian detection, lane maintenance, driver fatigue control or blind spot warning.
